Lakewood has had a kosher gas station for years.

iirc, the gas station itself doesn't sell the cholent. rather, entrepeuring individuals set up tables in the parking lot of the rest stop and sell it. this was part of a larger story (hillul hashem) about jews turning the gas station parking lot into a minyan factory (and leaving their mess for others to clean up)
Kosher gas station in Lakewood. I have never eaten there, but have been told the Shawarma is excellent, also the only place open very late at night.
As for gas, I was not close enough to anyone after they ate there.

I didn't hear that part of the story. The only part I heard was that this chulent was being sold and eaten by *everyone* (i.e. Charedim galore) without the benefit of any hashgacha whatsoever!
